Google PageRank Update

As many of you knows already, there was a Google PR update these days as well as an IBL update.
So, My lucky number 13 has PR2 again. But I’m very proud for two of our recent projects (where I work with Simonne), our make money online blog and our free web directory which have jumped from PR0 to PR4 (yuppie 
). And for that kind of projects, a higher PR is very important.
I think the reason for which I have only PR2 at my lucky 13 blog (which has about 7 months old) compared with PR4 at EzMoneyOn.Net (which has 2 months old) is the fact that on lucky 13 I have much more external links with do follow on my home page: I have 13 links from everything in my sidebar, plus I post 5 full articles on homepage. On EzMoneyOn.Net we have chosen to post excerpts, and PR was one of the reasons for that.
A very good tool for counting your external links with dofollow is Site link analyzer from SeoChat, which tells me that on My Lucky Number 13 I have 220 external links with dofollow and on EzMoneyOn.Net I have 26 links with dofollow.
Of course that the number of external links is just one factor for a PR evaluation. There are also very important the number and the quality of inbound links.

Sometimes, for blog site, dofollow could maintain your loyal visitor constantly visit. How about the different of traffic? Can you share it?

I hope my domains don’t drop like the last PR update, all my PR4 domains dropped to PR2 domains.

We got a PR update too.
It’s great to have a high PR. But this is not everything. One of my sites has only PR 2 now after this update, but the traffic from search engines increased a lot - doubled actually. Which makes me think that PR is important to see if a site is penalized or not, and to give only a relative value of authority in Google’s eyes. But that’s all.
