Comedian Harmonists
September 16th, 2007
The Comedian Harmonists was an internationally famous, all-male German close harmony ensemble (5 singers plus pianist) that operated between 1927 and 1934. They were one of the most successful 20th century musical groups in Europe before World War II and were noted for using their voices to imitate musical instruments.
The choice of repertoire was wide, ranging from folksong and classical numbers to the attractive and witty popular songs of the day.
Please listen some of theirs beautiful songs:
Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus
Irgendwo auf der Welt
Veronika, der Lenz ist da
Eine kleine Frühlingsweise
In einem kühlem Grunde
