You may noticed that yesterday, for a few hours, I have an error message displayed on my blog. While I was trying to insert a text widget on my sidebar, I’ve got this message:
WordPress database error: [Got error 134 from storage engine]
SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘widget_text’ LIMIT 1
After that, my dashboard looks messy: there are displayed many code lines and my widget text are disappeared. I’ve got in panic because I don’t know what to do. Then, I noticed the error name: “error 134“. You got it? I didn’t know what to do first: to cry or to smile. After I calm down a little bit I’ve searched on error 134, and I find out that maybe a table has crashed on database.
So here is the solution for those of you who own the domain and have access to CPanel and database. And of course, who get this error
. I wanted to add “and who has WordPress installed” but it seems that this is a MySQL error.
First of all, you must backup your database, just in case. Go in your CPanel and open phpMyAdmin. Then, select the database and under Export tab, select “Save as file”. Then Go, and save on your computer.
Now, you must repair the crashed table. In this case, if you read the second line on error message you will see that the table was wp_option. But of course, you can repair your entire table, just to be sure that you fixed all.
How to repair a table?
Select the table you want to repair, go on Operations tab and at Table maintenance choose Repair table. If the table was crashed, you will see what errors were repaired. If the table wasn’t crashed, you will see just that the table is OK.
After the table was repaired, I had to add my text widget again. And that’s all folks.
See? You can fix this error very easy, you don’t need to panic, like I do
Hope this article helps. I don’t know if I make myself clear, but if you have any question , please feel free to ask me and if I can and I know how, I’ll help you.

Today, someone has unsubscribed from my RSS feed and I felt miserably. While it is clear to me that he (she) has subscribed to my RSS to read my great blogging article
, and he (she) was disappointed that I was published some other subjects either, like photos, personal, music …, I can’t help myself to feel bad. First, when I saw the unsubscribe email, I got panic. My brain began to work hard, trying to find some great, unique subject about blogging, so that all my readers to be pleased. Then I realized that is a stupid idea. I cannot write every day great, unique posts about blogging. In my opinion, I didn’t write such a post until now either. I don’t want to write every day about blogging. If everyone blogs about blogging, all the blogging subjects should be pretty quick covered. I’ve already found many posts on many blogs about the same subjects, with different words. After I read 2-3 posts about the same subject, I skip the other “matching” posts. I like to read about different subjects, and I like to write about different subjects. Of course I like the blogging posts either, of course I like to make some money with my blog, because I’m not that kind of dreaming girl. But I’m not stick in this either. I consider that there are many bloggers who write about blogging better than I am. And they do it better than I do. I still would write about blogging. In fact, from my “brain storm” on this morning came to me some pretty ideas. But I don’t get stick in blogging. That’s for sure. And I’m sure that I cannot please everyone.
So, I’m asking you: How do you feel when someone unsubscribes from your RSS? What do you do in this case?

A few days ago when Marco Richter announce me that I’m in a Top Blogs about Blogging list, I was very happy. I never thought to write about this, because I’m still a newbie in blogosphere and I still have to use to idea that I can blog about everything
You see, I’m pretty introvert, I don’t talk too much, but I try hard to change this, and this blog seems to be the perfect idea to do that.
I do not consider my blog a “Blog about Blogging” only. When I’ve started it, I thought it will be a personal blog, but of course, since I’m a introvert person, it’s very hard for me to blog only about me: who I am, what I eat, where I go, what I like… So, while I’ve wrote new posts, I’ve added new categories and now, when I count my posts in every category, the Blogging category has the most posts. Though, it’s pretty hard to blog only about blogging, especially when there are some “blogging specialists” who write a lot about blogging, and they do it very well, like Marco Richter, Caroline Middlebrook, Darren Rowse … Well, you should check the list to find other great blogger than me
You can see me there:
If you have a blog about blogging and you want it to be included in this list, contact Marco and tell him too.
Thanks Marco!

I just have a great shock
! While I check how many subscribers I have to my feed, looking to some statistics that feedburner provides to me, I saw a visit from a blogrush widget
I verified quickly in my Google analytics and there it is: a visit from a blogrush widget. Although John Reese has informed me with many regrets that my BlogRush Account Is Currently INACTIVE, one of my posts has shown in a blogrush widget. I’m still in shock and I don’t know what to think: I’m in or I’m out from the greatest traffic giver system from all the time
Note: I just talk with the blog’s owner where the visit came from and she confirmed me that she visits my blog through blogrush widget.
Latest updates: I’ve received another 2 visits from a BR widget. It means 3 visits/week. It seems to me that I receive more visits from BR without having the widget installed and with my account being inactive, then otherwise
