Blogsvertise: get paid to blog

November 4th, 2007

In order to monetize my blog I’ve joined today to Blogsvertise. Now my blog is pending for approval and this post is a part of this process. Though, I whish I could try first their services in order to spread the word about them. Well, I’ll give them a try. This is how Blogsvertise works: you must to register and submit your blog for approval. While your blog is waiting for approval, you must write a post about Blogsvertise. Once approved, your blog goes into the assignment queue. The Blogsvertise administrator then assigns writing tasks for what their advertisers want you to mention in your blog. The good thing about Blogsvertise is that you don’t have to endorse the website product/service, just mention it in your blog and link to the advertiser website 3 times in your entry.

You will be paid for each task assigned to you that you have completed and submitted back for approval. The current payout rate for new accounts is $4 – $25 per entry. Most will fall into the $5-15 range. For more information you should read the FAQ page.

I’ll intend to maintain my blog a good one, so I’ll accept only reviews that can be interesting for my readers and I’ll write my honest opinion about the products/services given to me for being reviewed.

I’ve signed up for Blogvertise and my blog is approved..the only set back for Blogvertise is you need to wait for 30 days after your post is approved, before you get paid…

AntiBarbie, I think this is a good point for Blogvertise. You can write your honest opinion. I’ll see if this will be accepted all the time

I’m going to try them, too. Do they have an affiliate program? I saw you linked directly (I could use your affiliate link, because I found out about them from you) ;)

After I made the review about Blogvertise, it took a couple of days before they approved my blog…after one or two days, I already have an assignment (as Blogvertise called it) to do…Btw, I also recommend to you, to sign up for Smorty…What I like about Smorty is they pay weekly according to the post you made but in Smorty, you gotta be quick because the opportunity will be snatched by other blogger pretty quick..want to know more? Click on the title in CLIQ widget, Smorty For Blogger…

@Simonne, they have an affiliate program but only to refer advertisers. I put a link at the end of my post.

@nimrodjo, I have checked smorty, because I’ve allready read it through cliq  , but they require 3 months old for my blog. So I must wait another month.

Let us know how you get on. I’ve been toying with signing up, but procrastination has so far triumphed.

I’ll let you know.

My blog has accepted, but unfortunately my first task didn’t match with my blog content so I’ve declined it. I’m not sure that was a smart move, since it was my first task, but I really don’t want to change my blog’s content only for money.

Diana – I support your stand…yep. we do have choice to accept or decline in Blogvertise…so choose wisely…
Katstuff – Are you referring to Blogvertise? You need to wait for the answer from Diana..as for Smorty, I got paid a few times already…my highest pay was $ 10.80….

I also rejected the first task Blogsvertise sent me. Then I got another one, which I accepted, then again one I rejected. I don’t want to write about loans and other similar financial things on my main blog. I’ve set up a special blog for such reviews, but very few advertisers ordered reviews.

do you have any information on how to actually get accepted? I applied and my blog was rejected within 2 minutes of me applying. I didnt see any requirement to write a review about blogvertise before signing up. my blog is 2 years old self hosted with original content and a decent page rank. I dont understand why it was rejected so far.

When I’ve applied for Blogvertise, this was a requirement. It seems that this is gone now: “There are not any system requirements for blogsvertise. In order to use the service you need to basic requirements: A blog/online journal and an active paypal account.
You can ask them why your blog was rejected. Read their FAQ: “If you feel your blog should be re-considered for approval you may Contact Us for approval or for an explanation on why it was rejected.”

Thanks for the info. I have emailed them and thought it was strange that my blog was rejected literally within 2 minutes of signing up but its been almost 24 hours and I have yet to receive any response from them about why when I asked. I find it odd..

I mean Ive seen some of the blogs that get accepted by these types of pay per post/advertise sites and some are absolutely horrendous. sites that are still hosted on .blogger.com and .wordpress.com that are completely covered in obstructive ads with blatant copy/paste from other websites and completely unprofessional looking an no original content, and then me who puts time and effort into the site over a lengthy period of time gets rejected instantly with no explanation other than an email with this text,
“your blog has been rejected” yet other services I’ve applied for happily accept my registration.

Ahh well.. can’t have em all I guess .

Well I prefer to have my own blog and use PPC programs like adsense to monetize it.
