30+ Places to Promote Your Free WordPress Themes

Do you still remember me 
? I haven’t posted for a while, because I was busy with our make money online blog. And more, I’ve discovered a new passion: to create free WordPress themes. And Simonne, too
After we’ve created few themes and promoted them on some forums, a guy told me on DP forum that if we upload our themes on his site, he gives us $1 for each of them. That gave me the idea to search other sites where I can upload our themes, and I’ve discovered a lot of them. Not even you can promote your WordPress themes for free, but most of them also give a link back. And most of them have a pretty big PR.
I will list here all these sites (or at least those I’ve found on Google), with their PR and if they give back link or not.
There are also some forums where you can promote your themes:

One day, I will be releasing my own free WordPress theme because it can be a powerful link baiter from what I observed from all the WP theme designers. Even though some themes are crappy, they will also get links, hundreds of time over a time period.
Even though I don’t have the coding and designing skills and talent, I can always outsource it.

Free WordPress themes are a good source of backlinks, you have right, with the condition that people who use these themes to keep your links.
Although I don’ think they are accepting uploads at the moment, http://new-wordpress-themes.net is posting free themes.

WordPress’ official site is now accepting themes again too. http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
The problem is that now there are very few themes in their database. There used to be over a thousand themes… now there are only a few hundred.

hmm… nice list.. I did added my free theme to some of these sites
one thing though, instead of uploading they should ask for a download link, that way one can track the number of downloads and things like that…
when i cook at home, i always make sure that i only cook healthy recipes because i don’t want to get fat ‘.:
