PhotoHunt: Pink

Even if it’s a little late, I really want to participate to . It’s my first participation, but I intend to participate every week. Let’s see if I can

For the pink theme, I shoot a little pink flower with a very little bee on it. Actually, I was going to shoot the bee, but she is so little, that I couldn’t see her through my camera. So I shoot the flower, hopping that my bee is over it.

CLIQ – a good tool for getting good traffic

Since I left BlogRush and BlogRush left me (not necessarily in this order  ) I find another tool for increasing my traffic. It’s called CLIQ, though the domain is CLIQIN.com. It seems to be a good tool for getting good traffic. So, what is CLIQ? CLIQ is a service that allows bloggers to work together to increase their collective readership and audience engagement. Members of the same CLIQ can share links to featured, popular and related blog posts on their own sites through the CLIQ Widget. They can also manage their featured posts and see reports about which Blogs and posts are getting the most views and driving the most referrals around the CLIQ.

When you create an account with CLIQ, you have 2 options: to create a new CLIQ, or to join to an existing CLIQ. If you choose to create a new CLIQ, you must provide some details, like the name of your CLIQ, description, username, email, password and CLIQ enrollment (public or private). If your CLIQ is Public, anyone can join. If your CLIQ is Private, people must request your permission to join.

I choose to create my own CLIQ, which is called, obviously, My lucky number 13. It’s a CLIQ about personal matters, music, photos, funny, health, SEO, making money, blogging. I choose also to make it a private one, so I can ensure that only relevant blogs are displayed within CLIQ widget. After I’ve created my CLIQ, it’s been listed in the CLIQ directory. Isn’t funny that my own CLIQ, My lucky number 13 is displayed on the 13-th page on CLIQ directory?

Once you’ve created your own CLIQ or joined to an existing CLIQ, you must create your CLIQ widget. You have 3 themes to choose for: Shiny Silver, Bold Black and Goofy Green. You can see these below:

CLIQ widget

The widget needs to be at least 160px wide, but it will scale to fit the width of your blog template column.
The CLIQ team left in the support forum some notes regarding currently supported Blog platforms:

In order to fully support a blog platform, two things have to “work” :

1. CLIQ has to be able to ‘read in’ information about the posts (Title, Tags, etc.)

2. The CLIQ widget (which is JavaScript) has to display on the page correctly.

Currently, we fully support blogs with standard templates on TypePad, WordPress and Blogger.

Blog templates with customized fields and names for data elements require some manual set-up from our team, which we can do on a case-by-case basis.

Due to their JavaScript limitations, the CLIQ Widget does not currently work on Hosted Wordpress blogs. If you’d like to see JavaScript on Hosted Wordpress, contact your Senator…

We are looking into ‘slimmed down’ versions of the CLIQ Widget that would offer (likely limited) functionality on the platforms we don’t yet support…so stayed tuned!

After you choose the widget look, you can set the rules for your content feature and control the look of your widget.

As you can see, you can choose to display your most recent post, your most viewed post, or you can select another article from a list.

CLIQ provide also detailed reports. You can read a short guide about CLIQ reports and below you have 2 picture so you can figured out how these reports looks. Of course, you cannot see too much, since I’m the only member.

As you can see, I can invite friends to join my CLIQ, but I don’t want to annoy anybody. So, if you write about personal matters, music, photos, funny, health, SEO, making money, blogging, you are invited to request a join to my CLIQ.

That’s all for now. I really want to hear your opinion about CLIQ, so please be so kind and leave a comment. And I’ll wait for you in my CLIQ

Update: Well, I was giving a try and I’ve sending some invitation. I hope you don’t mind, guys and girls :)

I am 72% Good

I make another test (well, I like tests), called: “How good are you?” to find out if I’m going to heaven or I’m headed straight to hell. Hmmm, it seems that I’m 72% good and 28% evil, but I can recover this. Though, the recommendation for being a better person is to be kind to someone who is not very kind to me. Well, I cannot do this too often.
So, what kind of person are you? Good or evil?

You Are 72% Good

You are a good person. You do the best you can to be ethical, fair, and moral.
And as you know, being a good person means making hard decisions… and following them through.
If you’re confronted with an ethical dilemma, you will usually do the right thing.
Of course you do slip up. No one’s perfect. But you do your best to correct your missteps.

You are also probably: incredibly honest, especially with yourself

Right now you are on track to being: A respected leader

To be a better person: Be kind to someone who is not very kind to you

How Good Are You?

Personality test: What Color Crayon Are You?

I came over the antiBarbie’s blog where I read her last post about a personality test. I found it very interesting and I want to try it and share it with you. The test is called: “What Color Crayon Are You?”. Well, I’m a green one, though I like especially the red color. But it suits well, because it seems that every time I feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake me :) Until now, the red person was my mom, but since she is lying to bed since 7 month now, it seems that I must find another red person to shake me.
So, what color crayon are you?

You Are a Green Crayon

Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors.
While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.
Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible – and you try to make others feel at ease.
You’re very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!

Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.
